Nice easy trail. Was real muddy but that’s to be expected. Have different lengths of trails. We walked a total of 3.5 miles, was a great walk

Nice, easy trail if you’re just trying to walk the dog a solid distance. NOTE - to continue the loop the last 1/2 mile or so, make sure that you turn right when you get up to the pool/pavilion area. The sign will tell you to turn left, but then it cuts you through the parking lot and you miss the last wooded piece of the trail.

My friend was bothered by spider webs, so we did more road walking and less woods trail today.

We did mostly the red trail today. Some runners and dogs, one tree down. Nice outing, though one of our party was bothered by the spider webs.

Summer 19' most of the muddy spots have wooded walkways over them now. Double track Trail the entire way. The climb up from the lake is the most intense part. Occasional down trees after storm, but the park usually clears them out within a week or so. Some parts intersect Frisbee Golf course, so watch out for that.

I just started hiking and I thought this trail was great. I usually go on runs outside and thought I would give hiking a try. This was definitely a good choice to make for my first one. I’m in pretty good shape and thought the trail was pretty easy. There aren’t many steep hills to climb and is not rocky at all. Is only 2.6 miles, great for a good run, but a lot of leaves during the fall which makes it hard to see tree roots. Also, it can get muddy when it rains.
