I did this trail as my first trail at Crows Nest. I did it as a slow trail run/jog. This is very much like a rail trail. this trail is not very technical for a trail. it's rolling hills, nothing major. This trail is wide most of the way, like a fire road. Not to much to see, but if you want to experience nature with out worrying to much about elevation, or technical footing this is the trail for you. there is a little bit of single track towards the water end of the trail, but not to much. There are some interesting old grave stone, one was from a person that was related to one of the signers of the Decleration of Independence. There is also an overlook/rest bench at the end where you can see over the water, but there are a lot of trees in the way, so not the greatest view. There are some interesting sounding birds that I don't normally here, I don't know what they were though, and lots of little frogs.
