Everything everyone has said about this trail is accurate... however the map is not... not a big deal because they have green blazed the main train very well... when you get to the lake overlook from the campground trailhead map shows it continues and it does not... you will actually be following the dotted line trail which is still clyburn ridge until it connects to clyburn hollow which right now with the foliage is a very amazing valley trail... its mostly flat and open but like the name says you are in a hollow with 3 small stream crossings depending on recent rain! Loved it!

Great trail, lots of elevation change. For running this is a challenging trail because of the elevation and couple good long climbs. Very good trail tho.
