Nice moderate trail. Fairly easy for myself as I hike often. Started at the lower parking lot by Camp Burson, and hiked clockwise. (Stayed strictly on the Cylburn Ridge loop so hike was under 4 miles). Lookout about 3 miles into the clockwise hike, gorgeous view of the lake. From there it’s a smooth sail down the mountain back to the parking lot.

Trail was well maintained and easy to follow. There are several up and down sections but nothing crazy, it would be good for kids. This would also be a great trail for biking as you could do the loop multiple times without having to go down to the trailhead.

Went for a great hike with my dog. Trails were well kept, packed rock and dirt, and almost wide enough in some places for 2 people to walk side by side. Lovely views, lightly traveled, well marked. Would highly recommend for all skill levels, just got ready for some inclines!

Great hike with a great view at the top. Not much else to say, it is a simple hike that doesn't take that long and is very fun.

Everything everyone has said about this trail is accurate... however the map is not... not a big deal because they have green blazed the main train very well... when you get to the lake overlook from the campground trailhead map shows it continues and it does not... you will actually be following the dotted line trail which is still clyburn ridge until it connects to clyburn hollow which right now with the foliage is a very amazing valley trail... its mostly flat and open but like the name says you are in a hollow with 3 small stream crossings depending on recent rain! Loved it!

Great trail, lots of elevation change. For running this is a challenging trail because of the elevation and couple good long climbs. Very good trail tho.
