Nice stop off the highway to Asheville. Natural bridge is very impressive, falls are pretty and their name is reflected by the effect of them flowing along the rock rather than cascading — looking like lace.

A must do if in the area! Natural Bridge is a beautiful landmark and the falls is pretty nice too, just wish you could get closer to it. Trail is extremely easy to do and there is a few other cool things to check out as you walk it, like a cave and a "lost river". Ton of history revolving around the bridge and the land it's on. At most you'll need 3 hours to check everything out, it's not a very large state park, recently acquired by VA in 2016, 8 bucks per person to enter.

This part of the Natural Bridge State Park. Paved and gravel. Mild inclines. Harder to get to and from the trail than the trail itself. They do run a shuttle if stairs are a problem. You will see the. Natural Bridge, follow a stream , see a cave and a hidden river. You end at a nice waterfall and backtrack to return.

It is about 10 minutes walk from the State Park entrance to Natural Bridge. The view was amazing and it was worthy to spend some time here to enjoy what Mother Nature created. The trail to the fall was about 1 mile and we saw lots of insects on our way there. Butterflies were flying around the resting area near the fall, easily to get some nice shots with butterflies if you kept going till the end of the trail. Worth the time spent!

The trail to Natural Bridge runs along a river and is a very pleasant walk. Absolutely worth the time spent!

Pretty trail that is in the easier side- there are some stairs to descend (and eventually ascend). You do pay $8 a person to enter. It seems like a very popular tourist attraction- lots of people and dogs on a nice day. I enjoyed the information along the walk, they had a nice village exhibit open. Plenty of places in the shade throughout the trail for a rest.

Great place to see, but this is a man made path and not a trail really. Just need to preface this up front. It is definitely worth the time. They do want you to pay to be on the trail. Natural Bridge is real cool to see. Enjoy!

This trail was great for kids and dogs. Unexpected pleasant snack/lunch close to the view of the natural bridge. Very nice light hike, highly recommended.

Great hike. The stairs make it a bit difficult but there is a place to stop for a breath. The Monocan billiards, Bridge, sulfur mining cave and waterfall make this a great adventure. Hike itself is fairly easy minus the steps. There is a handicap option that will cut out the steps.

Well maintained trail that is great for anyone looking to get some walking in-kids, pets, who ever. Does have a ton of stairs though which make it tough at the beginning and end for some. The bridge is amazing- stunningly large. The water areas are nice and there are some historic markers and displays along the way.

Natural Bridge was a lovely place to spend a morning, and this walk provides lots of unexpected fun just after the bridge! A few notes/tips: -if you have a VA State Parks pass, that covers admission for up to 4 people. If you're considering buying a state parks pass, you can purchase it at the visitor's center for $75. Otherwise, it's $8 per person (not per car, as many other state parks) to enter the park. -there are some nice exhibits in the visitors center -pick up a self-guided tour brochure before starting out -there's a cafe (with beer!) at the start of this hike near the bridge -apparently they do a drama 30 minutes after dusk each evening (but we missed this). -if you keep walking on the Cedar Creek trail past the bridge, you'll come to an enlightening recreation of a Native American village, some caves, and a waterfall. Enjoy!

Very easy. Kid and elderly friendly. More of a nature walk then a hike but it had amazing views. You do have to do quite a few stairs at the beginning and the end but there are break spots in between.

Great for kids! We went in March so the cave and exhibit with interpreters was closed. There’s a fee to enter but worth it. 2 miles round trip with lots for the kid to see like river, falls, cave, etc.

The Natural Bridge is absolutely beautiful and so easy to get to. Just 130+ stairs and a short walk to incredible beauty. Continue on for a leisurely walk along the river, on a wide path and eventually to a 3 tiered waterfall, which is so mild and gently flowing. What a lovely Park to visit and if you have time to take in the Caverns too, I highly recommend.

Beautiful trail easy to traverse. There's lots of scenic places for photos. There are a lot of steps at the beginning but there is a van that takes you to the beginning of the trail. Once you get to the trail there's some inclines but not a lot. Not to bad if your elderly. The Natural Bridge is at the beginning of the trail. The whole trail is a little over 2 miles. A lot of nice scenery for a short hike.

Great hike to see an amazing attraction. I recommend getting there early, since the crowds get large later in the day.

Very busy trail that passes under the natural bridge, past some caves, by a Native American interpretive village and alongside a river ending at a waterfall. Begins at the Visitors Center at the State Park. Fee and dog friendly.

Great little hike for kids and adults alike, the trail is well maintained and easy to navigate. I highly suggest following the self-guided pamphlet that you will receive when you purchase tickets to the park. Natural Bridge was impressive, as was the Monacan exhibit, and the waterfall at the end of the trail. We went in the summer and I would suggest bug spray and sunscreen. Also, be aware of your surroundings as we did see a snake along the path.
