Catawba Mountain via Appalachian Trail is a 3.7 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Salem, Virginia that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from April until September. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Hiked to McAfee's Knob and farther which was a breathtaking view. Absolutely loved it, I would love to go again sometime!
