Nice short hike. Cool on summer days with ample shade as the trail is mostly tree covered. beautiful view of the Chesapeake bay. With exception of the first 100 yards the trail is an elevated boardwalk. Most likely wheelchair accessible for most people.

Lovely boardwalk walk through a forested area. Doesn’t (legally) connect to the beach, but there is a pretty beach overlook. 0.9 miles roundtrip, slight upward grade in the middle. Great side adventure on a Cape Charles day trip.
