Very nice beach! Relatively spacious for kids to run and play. And it is safe! There are cops and lifeguards that will quickly come if someone is in danger. There is a place to cookout, a big field with plenty of shade and places to play volleyball. And as I was leaving it seems that they were going to start some live music. Only thing I would warn is to not go into the water unless your putting your feet in or sitting right next to the riptide. The water is pretty dirty and I was instructed it is not meant for people especially kids to swim out too far.

We had an amazing time. It was an overcast breezy day but no one was on the beach. Parking is free. The trail takes you up and down the beach. There is a portion that says private but no one was out soooo we just kept going without issues. Not one complaint.

A Beautiful beach with fishing pier, a free viewing pier, and lots of space for gatherings and cook-outs. If you walk up the beach you will see private beach sign's at the midway point of this trail. No body seemed to pay them any attention...But, they are there...lol...Beautiful place to spend a day.

Walk along the beach all the way to the inlet. This is a pleasant walk any time of the year although it may get busy in the summer.

The marina has a restaurant with tables on the second floor porch overlooking the harbor and the boats. Other than that is is a nice walk up the beach.
