Beautiful board walk & fossil beach. Natural clay washed up on beach from surrounding cliffs & lots of shells. Known for the shark teeth that can be found on the beach.
Trail winded through woods but does have a couple very steep hills. Trail ends at Fossil beach where you can try searching for fossil teeth. There is a little erosion in a spot or two. Keep in mind if you walk down the steep hill, you will have to come back up that same hill. It's a nice walk
Hiked today, nice view from trail across to the Potomac River, I connected from the Turkey Neck Trail and stopped at Fossil Beach. Seems to be a good circuit.
