Bear Wallow Trail is a 5.5 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Fort Valley, Virginia that offers the chance to see wildlife and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, birding, and horses and is best used from February until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

I liked the trail quite a bit. For a person in his 60s whose knees are not what they used to be, it's still a great walk. Just have some sticks ready to help with balance if you're as flat footed as I am. We saw two people in two hours so I'd say that's pretty light traffic.
