very steep steps! the trails' main purpose seems to be to just get from the visitors center to the beach. in the direction the stairs are going down. unless you really want a stair workout (135 steps!) it's not really worth it just got the sake of a hike. I did enjoy the workout, though

I specifically picked this trail in order to take my 2 dogs to the beach. It’s in a state park and be aware that there is a $5 parking fee (they do take credit cards). The park itself was pretty awesome. There’s a pool (with a slide), rental cabins, and a lot of activities. It would be a great place to stay overnight. The trail is packed dirt. I will warn you that there are 3 long steep stairways that are not for the faint of heart. The beach was amazing and definitely worth the trip.

First time on this trail- beautiful and loved hearing the waves crash over the rocks down by the beach. Definitely get your heart rate up by doing the series of stairs.
