Appalachian Trail: US-58 Summit Cut to Mt. Rogers is a 22.5 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Damascus, Virginia that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking, trail running, and backpacking. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

parking is excellent on both ends. Almost entirely down hill. Rocks and roots abound. I hiked it in a cloud, so can not comment on views. Appears to have a wide variety of flora.
