What an amazing hike! We have a 3 year old and it was a tad bit tough for him but he pushed through Just more uphill than he’s used to! The view is absolutely worth every second of that walk! Take a detour on the appreciation trail cause you get more amazing views!

Really nice trail. Muddy in some spots but easy to navigate around. Ample parking spots off of Wrights Mtn Road. Nice cabin at lookout and other trails nearby to explore. There is a latrine along the trail which is handy if needed.

Nice and easy trail with beautiful views.

Well maintained trails with multiple beautiful overlooks, a cabin, pond, and gorgeous paths. Did Wright Mountain --> Appreciation Way --> Wright Mt. Trail --> Ernie's Trail --> Wright Mt. and it was lovely. About 2 hours with stops for scenery. Very light traffic.

worth the hike! I would suggest using a bathroom before going on this trail. The outhouses are not very clean or have toilet paper.

Good overall trail. We went to devil’s den and there are a lot of ticks and poison ivy around so be careful.

Real nice. So much more than just the “in + out” trail shown on app. Well marked & signed. Would have liked to SS the other trails if I’d had more time.

Very nice, quiet, easy hike with a reward of a great view at the top. We took the main trail up, and the Appreciation Way on the way back. There are the usual rocks and roots to watch out for, and the way can be slippery when damp.

Gentle incline, hiked this on a foggy cool morning so didn’t get to enjoy the views at the top but the woods and the trail itself were enough of a reward. Will do this one on a clear day. Doggy really enjoyed it as well.

Fun trip today! We took the appreciation route down and it was pretty icy- we definitely weren’t prepared for that but it was still a fun time!

Great hike! As others have said, it was well maintained. I wouldn't call it moderate, it was a pretty easy hike. Lovely view at the top.One thing to mention: if you go during hunting season, be sure to wear bright colors, as there is hunting allowed on the mountain.

Nice hike! Trail is well maintained and wide. Pet friendly I brought both of mine and we met 2 others. Plenary of trails off of the main route. Top outlook has a nice overnight shed and outhouse. As well as a campfire ring and firewood... we love having this nice hiking trail close to home. Only thing I dislike is the parking is small only 8 cars tops and easy to drive right by.
