Very nice, quiet, easy hike with a reward of a great view at the top. We took the main trail up, and the Appreciation Way on the way back. There are the usual rocks and roots to watch out for, and the way can be slippery when damp.

Gentle incline, hiked this on a foggy cool morning so didn’t get to enjoy the views at the top but the woods and the trail itself were enough of a reward. Will do this one on a clear day. Doggy really enjoyed it as well.

Great hike! Nice easy incline- did with a baby on my back. View at top is beautiful also has a nice covered barn like structure.

Well-graded trail leading to beautiful views. An easy hike that we plan on revisiting.

Fun trip today! We took the appreciation route down and it was pretty icy- we definitely weren’t prepared for that but it was still a fun time!

Great hike! As others have said, it was well maintained. I wouldn't call it moderate, it was a pretty easy hike. Lovely view at the top.One thing to mention: if you go during hunting season, be sure to wear bright colors, as there is hunting allowed on the mountain.

Nice hike! Trail is well maintained and wide. Pet friendly I brought both of mine and we met 2 others. Plenary of trails off of the main route. Top outlook has a nice overnight shed and outhouse. As well as a campfire ring and firewood... we love having this nice hiking trail close to home. Only thing I dislike is the parking is small only 8 cars tops and easy to drive right by.

Not sure why this is listed as moderate, one of the easiest hikes I've done in Vermont. That being said, one of the best views you find in the area, looks out over Corinth and all the way to Orange Heights to the north west. A lot of bang for your buck with this hike.

great condition. fantastic view from the lookout. consider going only the .8 mile to the lookout and back (round trip 1.6 miles). continuing on the wright's mountain trail and finishing with ernies trail is a nice forested walk but without further wow factor. figure the wright's mountain & ernies combo was close to 3 miles in total.

Clearly marked trailhead, good parking, great signage. Easy hike to the top. The most amazing views! Well worth the drive to Bradford.

Nice short hike to the top. Nice view. There is a cabin at the top with fire wood and an outhouse at the trailhead and the top of the mountain. Many different trails branch off for a longer hike. I will be back!
