The Pinnacle at windmill hill is a nature area that contains numerous trails with several loop and out and back hikes. The trails are maintained (excellently) by the Windmill Hill Pinnacle Association. The summit even contains a newly renovated shelter where campers can spend the night (reservations are required).

I'm new to hiking and this was a great place to start. I've hiked a few different trails up to the Pinnacle and they're easy to follow, well marked and for the most part wide. Not too steep, but there are a few steep parts on some trails. The view at the top is amazing! The pictures just don't do it justice.

This is such a great, well maintained trail system. Hidden gem in my opinion. Well marked and has great signage. Great spot at the pinnacle to see panoramic views.

This is one of my favorite hikes. The best time of year to hike this is during the fall season due to the acres of birch stands.

Love the hike to the pinnacle. It's easy, relatively quick and there's an amazing view at the top. This is part of the windmill hill pinnacle associations many trails around Westminster, Grafton, Brookline, Cambridgeport and Athens.
