Lightly used trail through a variety of forests and fields. Southern trailhead is on O'Neil Ln, just off Rt 132. Parking available for about three cars. If going out and back, I suggest hiking north to south from Carpenter Hill Rd, since the return trip will then be almost entirely downhill. The northern trailhead is marked by a small sign, but it's a little hard to follow at first. Look for yellow blazes.
