Nice hike it is moderate/hard with a lot of rock climbing especially at the top. There were a lot of rock stairs on the way up. While the view at the top was nice there were no views on the way up just forest views as you climb but nicely shaded.

Great hike but for the love of humanity PUT ON A MASK! There are narrow sections where appropriate distancing isn’t possible. Encourage your kids to do it too!

Awesome hike- it’s fairly steep going up but the path isn’t too hard and it’s not an extremely long trail. Beautiful when the stream is running. Perfect view of mount mainsfield and camels hump at the top. And those wonderful golden retrievers. This is one of my favorites!

Nice out and back trail. Steep in areas but very doable. Great view at top. Bring a snack and enjoy the 360 degree views. Contrary to other post people were very mask and distance observant. We also saw a lot of nice families out hiking which is always great

It’s narrow at the top and there are some areas that are harder to step off to the side on. I was extremely disappointed that only two people had masks when I got near them. PLEASE bring your mask and use it! This keeps the trails safe for everyone! Aside from mask issues I still love the trail

Amazing. I went early and the view at top was incredible. Very few people on a weekday morning. Steep climb at spots with a nice trail at the top to Skyline.

Fantastic view at the top is worth the hike and time. Defin. moderate. The earlier you arrive the better.

Beautiful wooded hike with fantastic views! We went earlier on a rainy morning so it was nice to have the trail to ourselves on the way up. We thought the first portion before the trail meets the Pinnacle Meadows trail was the hardest part rather than the section with rock stairs that comes after that. Two things we didn’t love about this hike - how crowded it got at the top and all the trash people left behind.

Super enjoyable hike. Once you reach the sign that says 0.65 to summit, intensity does increase but it is super doable. We put bug spray on, but barely encountered bugs on the way up. Would definitely recommend

Wonderful hike. FYI: we saw a beagle looking dog with a pinkish red collar today and no owners around. I know that dogs frequently hike this trail but I want to make sure that if someone’s looking you can find it here

I’ve never walked through more spiderwebs in my life but it was 100% worth it. A bit buggy and gets very steep near the peak but the views are phenomenal. One of my favorites in VT.

I proposed to my now-fiancé on this hike, having never done it before but had heard good things about the vista. It did not disappoint. Challenging in spots, but not too tough and the view is so rewarding. Not too crowded and people were very respectful of social distancing. Also, she said yes.

Lots of people but a well marked hike for a solo trip - beautiful views but not one if you want true solitude

Great trail! Moderate to hard for sure for some in spots with footing, rocks and incline. We went up with our 6 year old daughter and a baby on a front pack with a few stops here and there on the way up. Rocks and roots throughout trail so just watch your step both up and down. Midday walk resulted in zero bugs. This hike for sure got us sweating and feeling it!
