Easy walk. The kids loved the crossings and rock hops. Not accessible to people with any mobility issues. Muddy and wet after a rain.

Really beautiful. South Kent Pond is at the beginning of the trail, you walk alongside the pond for a bit in a wooded area. We did out and back to thundering brook falls. took us a little over two hours. Muddy terrain, sometimes slippery, but not much elevation, and would agree that it should be rated easy, if a bit long.

Very easy trail to navigate. You can continue up the trail by crossing the road at the end if you want a better workout with more elevation. Some nice falls and the lake is beautiful. Only downside is the noise from the shooting range that is further down route 100.

Great trail. Easy for first time hikers. Well marked and along the water. A few bugs when we started but not too bad. Bring bug spray.

Really enjoyed the trail. Great views of the water. Only drawback was a swarm of hornets that stung my husband and 3 other hikers which kept us from doing the loop back. Ended up taking another less traveled trail and got lost.

Easy track. A few rocks to walk over but nice in the shade. A lot of mosquitoes so don’t forget bug repellent.

Great view! We only spent half an hour chilling by the pond. But we saw people swimming, fishing, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding there. If you don’t have your own kayak, you can rent one at 35 dollars for 2 hours, if I remember correctly. You may want to ask the staff in Base Camp Outfitters yourself.

Attempted to get this trail done before it rained,no luck. It poured. I know it would have been beautiful as it is part of AT.

Easy trail to follow guided by white marks on trees. Almost immediately you are crossing a waterfall. Nearly reaching the turnaround point Our hike was interrupted by a large black bear, we chose not to investigate.

First to Review

Not really a hike, but a nice little nature walk. A bit muddy, but as it follows a pond that is expected. Some cool waterfalls that would be nice to sit under on a hot day!
