Really beautiful. South Kent Pond is at the beginning of the trail, you walk alongside the pond for a bit in a wooded area. We did out and back to thundering brook falls. took us a little over two hours. Muddy terrain, sometimes slippery, but not much elevation, and would agree that it should be rated easy, if a bit long.
Easy walk with nice views. Beautiful lake with nice stream and falls.
Very easy trail to navigate. You can continue up the trail by crossing the road at the end if you want a better workout with more elevation. Some nice falls and the lake is beautiful. Only downside is the noise from the shooting range that is further down route 100.
Easy track. A few rocks to walk over but nice in the shade. A lot of mosquitoes so don’t forget bug repellent.
A nice flat walk around part of Kent Pond. There is a couple of small waterfalls in the beginning part of trail.
Great view! We only spent half an hour chilling by the pond. But we saw people swimming, fishing, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding there. If you don’t have your own kayak, you can rent one at 35 dollars for 2 hours, if I remember correctly. You may want to ask the staff in Base Camp Outfitters yourself.
This trail was beautiful! Great scenery. And can make it longer if you choose. Brought the kids and had a great time.
