Absolutely beautiful trail. Beautiful view at the pond. We enjoyed sitting on the porch of the cabin (lodge) looking at the view of the pond. I loved this hike... it probably tops out as my most favorite trail thus far (I've done many). It's not difficult and is a nice gradual ascent with what seems like many switchbacks. Beautiful brooks along the way. I wouldn't miss this one.

Lovely quick hike up to the pond. It took three fit hikers approximately an hour to do the trail. At the intersection, If you head just a few feet south on the Long Trail there is a short unmarked side trail on the right that will take you to a beautiful view. The trail is very short but involves climbing over a rock crevice.

Trail sign was confusing when we got to the intersect of the LT and fork to Skylight Lodge Trail. If looking for the pond, follow trail that goes to the Skylight Lodge Trail. The view of the pond at the lodge was pretty and the previous week's rainfall helped to create plenty of runoff and waterfall views.
