Great shape and trail markings are good. Nice 2.5 mi trail run. Very little mud. I’ll be back.

Great view from the overlook! Lots of shade on the trails and not a lengthy hike by any means. Easy to follow trail signs and a little muddy in some spots.

Great quick and easy hike through a beautiful and varied forest to the overlook. Not too crowded even on a beautiful Sunday.

It was muddy but pretty decent. I am glad I took the opportunity to check it out. I wish it had a map of the view like Mt Philo.

Great Trail — super muddy. Loved the map at the beginning of the trial with little history included. A fun little adventure for our family!

The leaves have made it a little hard to follow the trail, but it should be fine in about a week.

Excellent view at the top of the overlook. While it’s great for sunsets, I do not suggest staying up there until the sun is about to fully set. The trees are dense in the middle of the trail, so although it may be light outside the trail, it can be much darker inside. I learned this all the hard way. Nice, cool trail in the summer, nonetheless, with lots of dips and rises.

Nice easy hike with a pretty good view. Would probably be a nice place to watch a sunset. Follow the yellow arrows and bring your bug spray. Seriously, bring your bug spray.

Easy hike, kid friendly. I hiked for the first time at the end of winter and thought I got lost a few times. Might be easuer ti navigate in the summer without the snowmobile trail packed down.

Nice trail through the woods with a great overlook of lake Champlain and the Adirondacks in the distance. The trail is rooty so not great for running but a relatively easy trail with some ups and downs adding to the variety and interest of the trail.

RunningMuddy

I tried running this on a rainy day in May and it was a complete mud bath. Impassable without going through ankle-deep puddles-verging-on-ponds. The surrounding woods are beautiful, and there are some well-made bridges over the more permanent streams. This is probably a very pleasant area on dry days, but it certainly doesn't drain well.

Great Sunday afternoon hike. Good snow pack, trail easily walked with crampons and poles, following easy hills to the Overlook. View is wonderful for low elevation. Will return in Spring.

Lovely, well marked trail. Beautiful views from the overlook, even though it’s past peak foliage.
