Beautiful hike with great views. It starts out fairly easy and becomes quite steep in the last .6 mile on the way up. Overall I would rate it as moderate rather than difficult, with the caveat that if you aren’t comfortable using your hands on rocks for some short steep areas, this probably won’t be a good hike for you.

Trail gets more challenging as you go, with more steep climbs and rocky areas. The view at the top is well worth it, there a small area at the top to stop and enjoy.

My favorite hike, primarily for it's brutal and beautiful solitude. The ascent and quiet make this both a physical and mental challenge, but once you summit and join the Skyline trail, the peace is unmatched. A beautiful hike in nature, just don't hike late. The road to the trailhead is iffy and likely unsafe after dusk.

Nice Hike along the Brook from the bottom and then leads to Rock Slide hike to the top. It was buggy at the bottom but not so bad at the top. Several downed trees on the trail. I thought it was an easier hike than Hunger from the Middlesex side, it just has more of an incline. Very nice trail overall.

Went hiking today (June 23rd) and there was A LOT of mosquitoes and black flies for the last mile. It honestly feels a lot longer than 4ish miles as well. It’s a nice hike, very rocky though. Recommend to hikers that are not just starting out. Have fun!

This is a pretty easy hike along the forest for about the first half as it runs along a really nice brook. When you come to the rocky steps it’s very steep (not dog friendly) and remains that way all the way to the top. Views were a little limited today because of incoming rain.

I'm more bruise than person at this point because the trail is so icy and pretty much unused! There's a good inch or so of both ice and snow along the entire trail, more so once you start getting to the steep bits. I definitely recommend shoes with grip and warm gear!

It seemed like the never ending trail! I loved the view of Pinnacle at the top. Be sure to be prepared to scale some large and jagged rocks the closer to the top you get

Did this for the first time on 8/19. Pretty forest with brook(s) running along most of the trail to the summit. A couple small pools of water on the way too. The trail starts to incline pretty quickly . The trail is rocky with a lot of moisture . Proper foot wear a must . I found hiking poles very helpful on this trail . The last mile is a pretty steep incline that is all rock . If your new or you are on your first few hikes this is not the one to start with . If you are eager for a challenge and have a few more hikes under your belt go for it . I will do it again. Worth the trip .

The hike up and down Mount Worchester is not 2.2 miles, it is 3.8 miles each way and we found it quite technically difficult. Beautiful views and forest but muddy trail and definitely rock scrambling that feels a little unsafe at times.

It's a bit early yet for this trail. We stopped shy of the summit when the ice got a little too much for safe passage. Parts of the lower trail are still very wet but passable. We will definitely be back!

New favorite hike! Starts out easy in a primarily deciduous forest (going back for foliage in a few weeks!) and then the second mile hits...steep with lots of rock climbing, a great challenge! The view at the summit was AMAZING! Full 360 of the White Mountains to the east, the Green Mountains to the West. We brought our 7 year-old lab and she did great climbing some difficult steep rock sections but was very winded at the top. We brought plenty of water for her. On the way up we passed several other dog owners going down the mountain who said their dogs couldn't make it up the rocks. Not a good hike for older dogs.
