Lots and lots of snow. Tough to break snow in snow up to knees but snowy and other then no view because of clouds it was great!
Snow covered. A bit of a workout. Too cloudy for any view. Very nice hike though!
The beginning is a little confusing, we followed the red trail up. We went counter clockwise (apparently backwards) following well marked red paint and flags. The footing was loose rock which made the steep inclines and declines tough. There were some muddy wet areas up top but we were able to go around all of them. It was a good strenuous climb but not very pretty with only the one vista up top.
Great hike, but tons and tons of huge mud puddles in the middle of the trail. Super steep at times. No real Mountain views.
Overall a nice trail. You are in the shade for most of it. If you follow the loop the way it is on here, the beginning part is a tiny bit overgrown. Also when you go up to the summit and back it is pretty muddy and buggy. I used bug spray and didn’t have too many issues. The summit has like 1 good spot for pictures.
A fun loop hike. Can also do out and back. I only saw one other couple doing the same hike. All Trails says this hike is dog friendly, but I saw some Nature Conservatory signs that said no pets.
This trail had heavy rain the night before! There is some large puddles to maneuver around at the top area. It is steep in both directions, steeper and quicker to the top going clockwise. There is a view at the top but nothing special. Otherwise, this is a beautiful walk along ATV road with a great cardio workout.
