Great hike, very buggy this time of year. Park in the gravel pit and trail entrance is up the dirt road a short ways. When you get close to the top there’s a split in the trail, Left is towards a lookout and go right to climb the tower. Very Rocky, small waterfalls. Can only get a view by climbing the fire tower. Took 2 hours to climb to the top .

Fun fire tower hike! Definitely a moderate hike.

Great hike. I would rate as hard. Beautiful views from the fire tower. Parking is inside a gravel pit a couple 100 yards pass (or before depending on your direction) where your GPS will take you if you use the alltrails directions.

There is a fire tower on top of this mountain that really worth the hike. The view we have from there is fantastic. We can look very far and see part of Vermont, New Hampshire (North Country), and probably part of Quebec on the very far horizon, looking north. This is a moderate to difficult hike on my point of view, but the view really worth the effort once at the top of the mountain. You'll have to climb the tower to get the view though, and as of today (July 2012) the tower is in good shape.
