This was a great hike! The beginning and end were pretty steep. The middle part was flat. The shelter and lookout were really great! Not much traffic today!

Great hike that overlaps briefly with the AT. A little cabin at the top has a (scary) ladder/stairs to the roof to catch great views!

Fun trail! Did it at 8am to avoid the heat and the forest was nice and cool. Took about 1.5 hrs. Trail paths are mostly wide and packed down. One or two muddy areas and a little buggy but not bad with bug spray. Starts out steep but levels out into an easy hike. Loved the shelter and going up the ladder to the top, much more enjoyable than climbing a shaky fire tower. I would suggest going early to get the beautiful view to yourself!

Really fun hike on part of the AT. There are some steep parts that were challenging but overall the trail isn’t too difficult. The lookout on the summit has incredible views of killington to the west, green mountains to the north and Mount Washington to the East.

(July 2nd) Great hike, really short, but just enough to get the blood pumping. There are a couple of private property signs but if you stay on the trail you won’t ever actually enter onto anyone else’s land.

Muddy, buggy and a bit slippery in spots after a passing shower but the view was absolutely breathtaking.

Loved the trail. It had some parts with a moderate incline but nothing too bad. Lookout is great, we could have definitely stayed the whole day and even overnight. It had a fire place and some pans to cook if you wanted to.

A little muddy in parts but not bad at all. A couple bursts of elevation gain but a very pleasant/relaxing hike with gorgeous views at the end. Just make sure to bear right at the first intersection.

Fun trail for family hike. Brought our dog on leash (very dog friendly). Definitely a well traversed trail- passed several groups of people up and down. Good little steep at the end. Very cool lookout with vista at the top.

Great trail with plenty to see along the hike to a great view. Some mud in spring but manageable and well maintained.

We took our competent and confident 4 year old and enjoyed this hike, especially the lookout. Loads of black flies (seasonal). Not sure I would call this 'easy' as there are some precarious rock areas.

Decent trail. About a half mile up, you come to an intersection. I was very confused about which way to go, as there was no directional. One path went straight up; the other path went to the right. Take the path to the right. Near the end, it does get steep, but it's not anything that I've never seen on other hikes before. The very top with the lookout and the 360 view is nice, but there's not much room at the top, so be prepared for that if you go on a busy day. I read reviews on other sites from a few years ago about timber rattlesnakes, but I have no idea if they are still around.

Great morning hike for all ages. Beautiful view that is worth the climb on top of the hut. 360 degree views!

Nice and moderate hike. Snow and mud which is expected for spring hiking. The views were breathtaking and I advice climbing the ladder on top of the cabin!

Good trail, easy to moderate. Mostly walking up stream so fall and winter are best. Awesome lookout!

Very pleasant walk with some short steeper sections. View is magnificent. I think I was the only person on the track that day not waking a dog.

Great trail! About an hour and a half loop(2.5 miles up and back). Use directions on app, takes you right to parking. If you google Luce’s Lookout it states the cabin is closed-that wasn’t the case when we went. Happy Trails
