Long Pond Road is a 1.3 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Greensboro, Vermont that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from April until October.

Beautiful hike next to a stunning lake. Very remote. The road to the trailhead was impassible in our sedan, so we walked from the main road. Beautiful walk as well. No mammals, but saw frogs and heard several hermit thrush- thought by many (myself included) to be the most beautiful bird song in the world. I certainly plan to return many more times. We took the lefthand trail and wandered through stunningly lush vegetation by the water's edge. Next year we will take the righthand which will take us to the lake's marshy area. I would love to boat on the lake, but without a better vehicle, it will not be possible.
