Libby's Look Loop is a 2.4 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Jericho, Vermont that offers the chance to see wildlife and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
This trail can be crowded on holidays, weekends, and during leaf season traffic, please consider hiking elsewhere if there are too many people.
Can be extended into a longer loop if you incorporate the Preston Pond loop trail.
There is a small unpaved parking lot.
Beautiful after a few inches of fresh snow. About to get very soft with the spring thaw.
Muddy at times but doable. A worthy hike for those wanting just a bit more than “easy.” The outlook ledge was an enjoyable and scenic treat. The Notch Road off of RT 2 is very soft in spots. Grated the bottom of the RAV 4. Wouldn’t chance it with a regular sedan at this time.
Sunny day. Trail packed well. Loved this trail and the paintings add to the fun! Can’t wait to return
Great day on the trail. Crampons and Gaters highly recommended. sunny and no people
Pretty easy and really pretty. It will make for a nice picnic hike in warmer weather
PARKING: free small unpaved lot, directions button takes you directly to the lot via Maps. TRAIL: we used snowshoes today and definitely recommend until the path gets packed down a bit more. Labeled as easy, but I was huffing and puffing at points. Absolutely beautiful trail with a few different loops to mix it up and make it shorter or longer. Really well marked. VIEWS: the Libby look was really cool and would have been even better on a clear day!
Great views today. Trail is well packed, and has lots of markings and signs along the way.
Did a short out and back to catch the sunset. Snow on the ground but didn't have to pull out the spikes. Nice easy hike.
A pretty fast hike. We were out there about an hour. It has been raining and was pretty slick. The first 3/4 of the hike is pretty easy but the last 1/4 is steep and rocky. Be careful! I banged my kneecap on slippery rock. The lookout it worth it! I took my chihuahua and he was able to walk most of it.
beautiful trail, easy to navigate and spectacular views from Libby's look!
Well marked, very friendly trail. Some elevation at start and going to Libby’s. Nice view.
What a stunning view from Libby’s Look! Overall the trail is marked well;however, with so many leaves covering the trail we actually started climbing a steep area when we should have turned right. I have a bad knee so was nervous about the descent and almost was going to give up, but some other hikers came along and told us the way they were going was to the top and they thought we were not on a trail! So glad we got redirected because it was not as steep, and it was so worth the climb to see the view!
Easy, well marked trail. 6year old in sneakers was able easily navigate. A little slippery on leaves at some of the up and downhills. Lots of dogs.
