Hedgehog Hill Trail is a 2.1 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Waterbury, Vermont that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

NOTE: Between the 2nd weekend in May and the 3rd Monday in October, there is a day use fee to enter the park ( $4 for adults, $2 for kids). Parking is required at the dam from late October until the park opening in May. Use of the park's swim beaches and boat rentals are for campers only. Waterbury Center State Park (about 20 minutes away, around the reservoir on Rte. 100 north) is available for day-use beach/boating access. Hedgehog Hill starts on the park road by campsite 59 and ends at the Dalley Loop Trail by the Ricker Place. Round-trip using the Dalley Loop and Hedgehog Hill Trails is 2.11 miles.
Nice hike in the winter. It took us 2 hours with cramp-ons. We didn't want to spend all day hiking so a nice stop before getting to Burlington!
