The first half mile will really test your legs. Very steep, challenging, yet exhilarating! After you reach the vista, you are treated to scenes out of a fantasy movie. Be sure to check out the panoramic view just behind the summit sign!

Well marked trail with a steep incline in the beginning, strenous but not too hard. Great views and dog approved! Good trail for a dog used to trails and has some listening skills and is conditioned a little.

This trail was pretty intense at the beginning. Lots of rocks and pretty steap but totally doable, just breathe and make it to the top! Once at the top it does clear out to a pretty clear with some areas of tall grass. The veiw of Bennington at the top was beautiful ♡

Lots of rocks and quite steep at first and then gives way to a lovely fern forest before the summit where you can see Bennington down below. A challenging work out but worth it! Took us about 2 1/2 hours. Highly recommend!

very steep rock stairs at beginning (and end) make the hike strenuous, but once you're past the stairs it's not that bad. I got to this top of Harmon Hill in just over and hour. lots of mud/water to be aware of.

Steep climb at the start makes hike feel longer than it actually is. After initial climb flattens out into typical Vermont woodlands along the hilltop. The Forrest Service clears the overlook of Bennington via controlled burn. View of Bennington decent but view is better from the white rocks accessible by two nearby trails. Ultimately a worthwhile hike and good work out for a short hike.
