Great hike and fun for the pup. Views were great. Pint of Guinness at The Long Trail Pub was a perfect ending to the day
We hiked this trail on an overcast day. The weather wasn't too cold just the trail was very muddy in spots and there was snow covering the boards used in the trail. The trail was easy to follow with a lot of ups and downs. The view from the Overlook was covered in fog/overcast.
always takes friends visiting on this hike. not too hard with amazing views at the end!
A short hike with beautiful cries
Rocky, well-used trail to a fantastic viewpoint. The viewpoint is *very* exposed, not for those afraid of heights. At the end, I think you're only 200 yards from the trailhead, mostly straight down!
Avoid this hike on the weekends since it can be pretty crowded. A great hike if you are short on time and it's a crowd favorite since it's a short hike with rewarding views. It's the perfect place to watch a sunset. Dog friendly yet watch out for the vista is exposed cliff with a very steep drop off. I'd recommend making sure your dog is leashed before going out on the rocks.
Little muddy but perfect condition to hike, gorgeous view and easy hike!
