Great 5 mi hike. Well marked. Steep incline midway alongside beautiful cascades. Lookout offered terrific view of RutVegas!

Very nice trail and a lots to see! It starts out pretty easy and works it’s way gradually to being a little steep. Definitely would recommend doing this trail.

A bit muddy at the bottom. good deal going up but worth it when you come to the awesome Cascade on the Right. Was a little disappointed with the view to the East. View spur to the SW gives a good overlook of Rutland.

So, as a beginner, I found this hike to be pretty challenging. The blue markings need to be redone (especially near the lookout). I ended up bushwhacking a bit to get to the lookout because the trail wasn’t clearly marked. Snow at the top made it a bit icy and slippery. A few streams to cross made it interesting. The boards used to cross over muddy areas definitely need to be replaced. The waterfall was beautiful. Quite a few steep areas and a lot of rocks to cross over.

Fun trail. I could see it getting overgrown in summer but fun to follow route. Lots of jumping on rocks and over logs. Beautiful cascades. Runnable first first half mile. Took us 2 hours at a fairly fast pace and 5 min to enjoy Rutland overlook from top. Going to be a lot more muddy once things thaw out. Still fairly frozen.

Great hike on April 22. The majority of the trail was still snow covered but we were okay with just hiking boots. Up and back took us 2 hours and 20 minutes including eating lunch at the vista point. We saw one other person on the trail. The vista had a beautiful overlook of the town and mountains, although the trees definitely block the view some. The cascades featured mid-trail were lovely as well. We recommend!

Great trail even with some snow. Decent overlook, great little waterfalls. A lot of brook crossing and blow downs to swing over.

Nice trail! Summit views were a little over grown. The waterfalls were beautiful! Would recommend, nice solo hike!

What a beautiful afternoon hike today was on the Canty Trail. It was quiet with only a few other hikers. It was just rugged enough to get a good workout. The view from the vista was phenomenal, and the falls were enchanting.

It was awesome! There are not many people coming to this trail but it was great. I saw a bear on the way up :)

Great hiking trail. There is a stop at the waterfall cascade and a view of Rutland at the top vista, but the real highlight is the excellent trail.

Great trail, accurately advertised by others here. Highly recommended -- didn't see another soul, but really enjoyed the solitude.

Due to some rain unable to finish the trail but I’ll be back. It was a nice tree covered trail making it cool on the warmest days.

Nice hike, actual trailhead and parking is a little further down the road than where this app brings you

I love the variety of terrain on this trail as well as the quiet location and lack of people. A well marked trail with a medium sized waterfall halfway to the summit. I'm not a fast or slow hiker. It took two hours to get to the top and had a nice view.

Loved this trail regardless of the conditions...being spring mud season made the trail a mess but it had also rained for two days prior. Had to hike into woods of trail to cross the brook...luckily there was a fallen tree across it. Cascades were raging and beautiful
