Good day for hiking --- still a good amount of snow before the forks.

Another thing to take into consideration, the blaze disappears on the trail about a mile from the fork. While this probably wouldn't be a big deal in the Summer months where the trail is visible, this could cause some big problems when trying to traverse over the snow. Easy to get lost.

With that said, the lower portion of the hike along Yellow Pine Creek, was great. High water led to some great photographs.
