A short hike to a lovely arch with great views. Turret Arch is a beautiful free standing arch in the Windows area of Arches NP. The views over the area are exceptional. Follow the trail to the Windows, bearing right at the first intersection, and near the top of the ridge, leave the trail and go cross country to the Arch. There is good climbing for the kids and by going through the Arch a great view through Turret to the North Window and beyond. Also good views of the Cove of Caves and the Parade of Elephants.

Super easy and fun. Worth stopping and checking out on the way to the delicate arch hike.

My husband and I took the route counterclockwise and decided to use the primitive trail to return. I would not necessarily recommend that way in the winter as it involves walking quite a bit in the shade behind the rock walls and some scrambling on ice near the end. That said, we got some wonderful pictures and it was much quieter on that stretch of the trail. It only adds another 1/4 mile to the route.

This was an easy hike to the arches. They are simply stunning. We took the primitive trail and it was less crowded and serene.

Very short and easy, but the arches are impressive. There were lots of people on the main trail and climbing around the arches, but when I went off on the easy to follow "Primitive Trail", I had a nice stroll on my own.

Not much of a trail, very easy. But still a decent view at the end. Great if you're not a hiker.

Very Hot at the time of our hike, but well worth it.
Able to climb all over the rocks. Great photo ops.

Very nice trail

Easy walk. Definitely do the primitive trail around the back of windows so that you can get a good view of both windows, especially in the morning light.

Was dying to see these arches and was not disappointed. We went early in the morning before the tour buses got there and it was peaceful.

Be prepared for lots and lots of people. With that though, if patient you can get pictures with the arches without anyone in them. Easy trail.

There are more famous arches, but this collection of three is both beautiful and easily seen/walked by anyone.

This was an easy hike and pretty rewarding. My kids, 4 and 6, had no problems on this hike and it wasn't scary with them like some of the others.

Easy, mostly flat, walk. Chilly in January at 34 degrees. There weren't a ton of people, but did take photos for a couple of groups. Went to the Turret Arch first, then over to the North and South Windows. Torrent and North are easy to get under- don't recommend attempting to climb into the south window. Even met a woman there who tried when she was 12, fell and broke her hip.

Easy trail that climbs and loops to both windows. Meet the ranger just off the parking lot for a great guided tour. They talk about how the arches were formed and the plant life along the trails.

Not as awe inspiring as other arches in the park, but amazing by any standard!

Worth the time, you get 3 great spot for the an relatively easy walk, most of this is paved if I can remember correctly. Gets extremely busy, like most places in this park go early or go late
