Nice gravel trail around the perimeter of the farm. Beautiful views of Mt Olympus and the Wasatch front! The east side of the farm is all natural with wetlands and a creek. The whole place really provides a sense of history and what life in the Salt Lake Valley would have been like a 100+ years ago. Great place to visit if your a local or from out of town.
Not too picturesque, but there are plenty of farm animals on half the route.
Didn’t quite follow the trail because the kids (5 & 3) wanted to see the animals. Playgrounds at the end of the trail was a nice ending for them.
It was fun! Lots of things to look it. Too many mosquitoes that made it annoying but that’s just being outside! Ha
Ran into a dead snake on the trail. Lots of families taking professional pictures. Grandson got stung by a bee. :(
Trail is on the periphery of the historic wheeler farm. Lots of animals and wildlife to see while walking the trail. You might encounter bikers and or runners on this trail. Dogs are ok if on a leash. Easy trail and can be walked fairly quickly if you want to walk something that is easy and not to long.
