The West Haven Trail is the northwestern section of the Weber River Parkway. Its southern boundary is the Skate Street Trailhead, crosses the bridge just south of the confluence, and then travels west past the freeway and 1900 West until it reaches the West Haven Cemetery. Trail is excellent for biking and walking. With numerous points of river access, it is also a popular place for bird watchers and nature lovers. This section of the river is very slow moving, and is not accessible to boats due to two dams on the river.

I wish Ogden city or West Haven city would regulate this area better. The garbage and homeless camps are getting out of control. Don't get me wrong, there is beauty to be found, but I would recommend doing it by bike in a quick ride. My favorite part is seeing where the Ogden and Weber Rivers combine. Lots of history signs on this trail too.

It is very beautiful, but you can tell a lot of people use this trail as their home.

This is my third time on this part of the trail, and luckily the only time I didn't get a flat. The trail itself is new, and piles of cut wood are still off to the side that haven't been cleared out yet. It's gaining popularity, but so far it's still the quietest section of the parkway.
