Gorgeous! We had the whole lake to ourselves. The trail was kind of hard to see at times. Bring lots of bug spray, we saw the most mosquitoes I have ever seen.

Easy hike. Plenty of fish still taking flies. Lake is small, but fun if you are continuing on to see all the others. There were no mosquitoes as of September 4th.

Hiked past weir lake for 4th of July 2019. Trail had a few lingering snow drifts in the shade that are melting causing flowing water on the trail in spots but most of it is avoidable. Should be snow free and dry in a week or two. Only fished there for a minute on the way back to the cars and caught one brookie but other anglers reported catching 30+ fish that morning.

Awesome Lake, beautiful hike not to steep, very quiet and great camping spots. Great views during a thunderstorm. Definitely will be back here.
