Virgin River Rim Trail is a 5.4 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Navajo Lake Lodge, Utah that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from May until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Wife and I exploring the slot canyons of Southern Utah in 2013. was up near this trail with some ropes and friends and had some fun. You can see some of the video on our YouTube Channel:

Not the best quality footage, but we had a great time and shows some one of the many potential activities in the area. If you don't know the area I encourage using one of the many guides in the area.

Overall this was a great hike! There are some great spots to do some back country camping as well. Very few people so perfect for those truly trying to "get away from it all".
Good elevation changes but not too strenuous.
