Pretty views of the valley. Not much shade so go early.

Nice trail... can make longer/shorter as you wish with the various connecting trail. Beautiful weather, some short stints of maybe 35-40 degree inclines, but overall pretty relaxing hike.

I didn't do the full loop, instead opting to go up the East fork and over to twin peaks and back. Some very steep sections with loose gravel. I didn't have any issues following the trail. I went early 730am start on a Monday, and only saw 3 people. Views as good as advertised.

Nice trail overlooking north Salt Lake City. The way down is steep and full of large gravel

Well maintained trail. Pretty exposed but really quite beautiful. Worth it to go up to the twin peaks and see the view as well.

Quick version: Perfect hike under 80 degrees if you watch the map. Detailed version: Pros: 1. Beautiful and Green (May) 2. Views are great! 3. Perfect picnic spot in the beginning / ending. Cons: 1. Not a ton of shade. 2. There are several trails that connect, without labels. This hike requires you to turn at a fork that doesn’t seem like it would be the way so we ended up on a dangerous Bike trail. We were half way up before the first Biker and was honestly more afraid they would get an injury from being startled because hikers aren’t usually on the path. Just keep the map out so you notice sooner if you are on the correct path. Unless you need the adrenaline... and wanna give dozens of hikers a heart attack : / lol.

Went midday on a weekday, some traffic but not too busy. Most dogs off leash and some cross traffic from mountain bikers. Gorgeous views!

I love this hike! It’s steep no matter which way you go but the views are spectacular any way you look. 10/10 recommend

Uphill for the majority of the hike. Good if you’re looking for a 1.5 hour pump. Nice view of the valley throughout!

Definitely ended up on the wrong trail, used spikes for half of it but probably didn’t need to

Beautiful view of the city, we weren't entirely sure we were on the right trail to be honest. no signs anywhere, and a lot of forks. We did run into a garter snake and a tarantula, so pretty interesting. Great view of the city. Not my favorite but close to the city and it's better than not going.

I tried to do this trail last week and couldn’t because of all the yellow stripey things and my boyfriend’s allergy to them. Just a warning for those who this might matter to- lots of little buzzers. Too bad. Now I’m probably going to have to go get a new boyfriend.
