One of my favorite all-time hikes!!! Leave early. We started the trail at sunrise and were very happy we did. It was HOT the last 1/2 mile and it was less crisp lighting to get good photos. Wildlife was more abundant in the morning too.

May 2019 trip to Southwest, fifth visit to UT, last time was 10 years ago in late spring. Day 5 This was mine first National Park I visit 22 years ago in late spring. First time at Devils Garden. More of stormy weather on the way, yet parking was still extremely crowded. First small arch at Devils Garden but you must take spur off main trail.

Very easy trail— we added on Tunnel and Pine Tree Arches with an easy short addition. Sandy toward the end toward Landscape. Parking lot packed at 10am when we left.

One of the smaller, less popular arches. It still was a terrific hike ,and had some neat views along the way.

As far as arches go, this wasn't anything great to see.

Pretty windy and snowy, really great view! Definitely worth taking the detour to pine tree and tunnel arches.

It’s a short trail over sand. I got stuck behind a family. The Pine Tree Arch off the same trail is probably better.

Was not impressed. Most people glanced and kept on walking to Pine Tree Arch.

Did this on the way to landscape arch. Worth the side hike! We also went at the perfect time when the sun was shining through the arch!

Definitely would combine Pine Tree Arch & Tunnel Arch together (they are right next to each other), pretty easy hike, few small hills, walking on dirt & sand. Tunnel Arch is not as exciting as many of the other arches in this area. Could hike down to Landscape Arch, worth it if you have the time, enjoy this sight before it's gone forever!!!

Walking

For what it is, this is a great trail. It is so short that it's best to combine it with the Pine Tree Arch and Landscape Arch trails. Wide gravel path, no incline, less crowds by comparison.
