Beautiful scenery but very muddy for most of the hike. Most of the water along the trail is salty so take care if you plan on filtering along the way. The “hot springs “ are more room temperature there is one at the beginning and one at the end and while slightly sulfurous the water is potable once filtered. I would not say this is a must do trail but I enjoyed it. The trail starts just north of its mapped location with ample parking and camping area. It is an old dirt road headed north from a cattle corral. The trail can disappear from time to time but as long as you continue north/south you’ll find it again.
