I haven't driven this scenic drive all in one loop but have done it portions over the years as I have hiked the area. A fascinating area rich in ancient Indian civilizations and natural beauty. The area is definitely a destination for a vacation.

Trail of the Ancients is several Indian Ruins in southeast Utah near Blanding. Mule Canyon is right beside Hwy 95; Butler Wash is also off Hwy 95, but about 1/2 mile from the Highway. Edge of the Cedars is located on the edge of Blanding, and Hovenweep is several sites in southeast Utah and southwest Colorado. All are quite interesting.
