Took my boys (5 & 7) out on their mountain bikes. Great starter trail for learning to ride single track and dirt. Saw a desert tortoise!

Very easy evening walk against red mountain. Nice, well maintained. Super flat - great for families.

Great trail for our little bouncy bikers (4,6,8,11). We saw a few small groups walking on the trail. There’s no shade, but early April was perfect weather at Mid day. It has a beautiful backdrop Tuachan/Snow Canyon Mnts. There’s a cool cement dam the kids like to explore and look for white rocks.

Even though it’s on a flat trail the views are awesome and it’s so close .

This is an easy and basic trail that follows along the base of the Red Mountain. There used to be more interesting subsections of the trail but they recently renovated the area and closed them off with signs. Kind of a bummer. It’s a straight flat trail now.

Out and back and a tale of two half’s. I went out on the south side. It’s on top of a dike, flat as a pancake, packed dirt with gravel. Pretty much like walking on the sidewalk. Interesting view being on top of the dike it gives a different perspective. The way back, or north side, is a desert trail with lots of intersecting bike trails. Not steep but little ups and downs traversing gullies. Most were step across a couple were one step in and one out. Watch out as while the trail appears to go straight, those are really shortcuts the park doesn’t want you taking. Signs are down that say you are not on the right trail. Next time I’ll make sure I’m on the official trail.
