Thompson Lake Trail is a 20.7 mile out and back trail located near Kamas, Utah that features a lake and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is best used from July until September. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Going into the four lakes basin is tough but worth it. We did a day hike from there to Thompson lake and was totally worth it. You might never find a less fished lake.

Fairly easy trail until you get to the Four Lakes Basin and start climbing Cyclone pass. Once you get down the other side you have to boulder hop to get to Thompson Lake.
