The trail is super overgrown which can make the ascent a bit slow. Kind of annoying the push through all the overgrowth. There are moose, so keep an eye out. Saw fresh tracks by the creek near the top. And saw a moose standing in the meadow when we went up to camp on Pioneer Day. Wasn’t aggressive, just large and intimidating. There is a spring at the top to refill water (filter needed) it’s a great place to camp. The meadow at the top connects to slide canyon (to Y trail), the trail to Provo Peak, and Slate Canyon. I really like this hike.
