This was my second time up the Watchman. The trail is a steady grade up and not technically difficult at any point. The views at the end of the loop are stunning and I was able to capture a picture of a condor as it swooped by up the canyon.

This is a heavily hiked trail and other than some misleading trails at the top it is not possible to get lost! Now, one of these days I'll be in good enough shape to climb Mountain of the Sun (the part that shadows the Watchman in the morning)!

Went in the afternoon, so not so crowded. Wide, flat hard surface trail 90% of the time. Several nice pic spots along the way.

Great hike! Definitely more moderate, but the weather played a big part. We went during a light rain shower, so the clouds and precipitation made everything beautiful! Plus mid-may means that the blooms and wildlife are all around you. It was a muddy trail but worth it.

Nice hike with good views of 'The Watchman' formation. Bonus is you can start hike at visitors center without having to catch a shuttle if lines are long. In my opinion, probably closer to a moderate rating for those interested. Great wildflowers and cactus blooms along the way and at the top, so pay attention! (Did hike in early May).

A little more difficult than I thought it'd be, but I think it's bc I'm not used to the elevation. Stunning views. It gets windy up there. Wear a hat.
