The Sheep Trail is a 12.5 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Salt Lake City, Utah that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

The trailhead is gated and has no trespassing and video surveillance signs so we went back to the East Canyon Trailhead and accessed it the from the East Canyon trail. Trail mostly follows old roads and pipelines and isn't much to look at in the Winter but would be a great snow shoeing trail with sufficient snow
