Plenty of street parking. Trail is pretty narrow as it looks to follow an old wash in some parts. It's a good idea to use the AllTrails Recorder because it is easy to get off course without realizing - lots of offshoots. There is minimal to no shade so plan accordingly. The rocks at the top are arranged to look like couches and chairs which makes for some good pics. The view is amazing the whole way up so if you can't make it to the top turn around and see the view, it will still be worth the trip!

Gorgeous! Incline the whole way up, and rocky on the way down. Super chill and relaxed. Great overlook at the top. Definitely recommend.

Went at 2:00 pm and only saw a few people. No snow, not slick, nice, quick hike.

If Covid-19 worries you, then I would not hike this Trail. It is very crowded with dogs, runners, and families with small children. The trail has no trailhead sign that you can read, but is well traveled, lots of off shoots to get to the lookout, but not well marked. The trail itself is very rocky, and gravely with a steady incline. Trail is easy enough in distance, but is rated moderate for the elevation gain, and the rocky scrambles. Once you get to the Lookout Point, it is extremely rocky, but the view of the city is fabulous, if you come on a day when it's not smoggy. ** No Parking Lot ***3 Hour Street Parking Only ****No Bathrooms

Nice uphill the entire way but great view of the valley at the end. It was a bit muddy and icy though.

HikingGreat!Muddy

It was really muddy about a mile up so I took my dog up the left side of the trail, many little trails that are dry around the area to explore.

As of today 11/16 the ice patches were minimal and posed no problems to 2 moderate hikers with boots and no crampons. The trail was beautiful the whole way up; honestly the living room is just icing on the cake of an already beautiful hike. We took the west / rocky ridge route down and it was very steep but otherwise fun to vary the hike. You might think this trail is “just a view of the city” as we expected but gosh we’re we wrong.

Really nice short hike with moderate elevation gain. Great views along the way and at the top. A few snowpacked and icy portions, not a problem going up, but if you want to tromp down without slipping worries, might want to pack microspikes.

Great quick trail. If you don’t stop to take pictures (unlikely), it’s a decent 40 min hike.

Insane view once you get there but my wife will tell you, it’s challenging enough on the way up. Solid elevation gain but totally worth every step. The views are incredible the whole trail and it’s one I will never forget.

Quick but no so easy trip to the top! Great hike to hit on a weekday will be a bit harder than you think but nothing crazy. Smooth trail, decently marked and plenty of open views of the city on the way up.

Great hike and great views! Went for sunset last night and raced up the top. It’s a steep climb but was fairly easy on the way down in the dark with a headlamp.
