The Chute of Muddy Creek is a 15 mile lightly trafficked point-to-point trail located near Hanksville, Utah that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and whitewater kayaking. Dogs are also able to use this trail.

Did this back in the beginning of April, it’s a beautiful trail just be aware that the water can get deep we were doing crossing all the way up to our thighs until at one point we had to swim because it go so deep but this was after a previous rain storm that had probably happened a week prior so just be aware but I still had fun swimming!

Beautiful slot canyons. Family-friendly if you know what you are doing because there are a few white water rapids. We used blow-up kayaks and a raft. Shallow and rocky in spots. Take lunch and stop part way through.

Very fun hike, every bend seems to be the last. Make sure to bring something to protect from biting insects in summer. Not for kids or pets.
