Great trail for the view of the canyon walls, but wish the interpretive signs had been a little more focused on the history of the quarry.

Up to the old power plant, the trail is snow packed with some ice. I wouldn’t recommend hiking the last mile unless some trail maintenance is done. The mile beyond the plant appears heavily used by wildlife, we saw small and very large cat tracks. A beautiful hike overall.

Beautiful trail with markers along the way. Water running in the creek is wonderful and peaceful to hear and see.

Perfect little trail for a small family like ours. It was fun the River was flowing and was so clear you could drink out of it. It was awesome.

This trail is paved the whole way and is wheelchair or stroller accessible. Even my 2 year old did this loop. We added this on to the other hikes we did up Little Cottonwood Canyon. Would be pretty in the fall. Also would be fun to hike in the dirt trail for Little Cottonwood Creek that shoots off this trail to hike more along the river

Awesome trail! Nice uphill the whole way with tons of shades. The river is a welcome. I jogged it and it was a moderate nice grade uphill. Not too steep. Rolling more like it. Really enjoyed all of it. Will come back.

Simple walk, not even a hike really. Close To town. Parking lot does fill up. Water running high and loud this year!

Easy, but scenic. Lots of ruins and historical sites, river bridges and abandoned buildings. Dont let your kids play in the ruins, some may be dangerous and hide old mechanical equipment.

Easy trail with spectacular views! Very heavy use with hiking, running and mountain biking. Some areas of the trail are narrow and difficult to pass.

Fun little walk on a paved trail at the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon. We read all the signs and enjoyed the beauty of our surroundings, imagining our ancestors quarrying rock for the temple. Start at the trailhead at the very beginning (west side) of the parking lot.

Perfect for little kids and especially pretty in the fall!

Good little trail. Easy enough for kids, grandparents and even toddlers. A couple good views of the river running along side Little Cottonwood Canyon. Nothing amazing, but still cool nonetheless.

Well, it is a nice, shaded, paved trail with great views of the lowest section of Little Cottonwood Canyon, but that's about it. This is a very short trail and I would really only recommend it for the families with small children as it is a great trail to allow kids to run around. Otherwise, there's better trails further up the canyon.

Very easy, fully paved trail. picked for a grandma with a cane and a baby in a stroller, but there were plenty of fun things to climb and see for the 3 and 5 year old. Don't know why the site shows parking across the street at the park and ride. Way too busy to cross the road with our crew. There is a small lot at the trailhead, or park on the road just north of it.
