Hike up through Paul Bunyan's Woodpile (lava formation) then further to pointed lava peaked hill called Teeter-Totter Hill. No definitive trail to follow past the woodpile but the general route that I mapped is along the best contours possible. There is a rockpile at the top of the summit where clearly lots of people have been before. Moderate slopes on the hill but a fairly short distance. Rocky terrain through tall grasses and sage brush. Great views around the valley and mountains but usually windy conditions. Makes for a little bit more challenging hike beyond Paul Bunyan's woodpile. I would hike this again.
