This double track trail in on the Mineral Basin Road and is very scenic with mountain on either side. We hiked in the morning and say only two people in a UTV. There was a very pretty cascade/waterfall along the side of the trail. Upper Mineral Basin if beautiful and full of wild flowers this time of year. Considering today was a holiday I was surprised that we saw only two people until we reached Sugarloaf Pass.
