Sugarloaf is an easily accessible sandstone butte located at the start of the Burr Trail Road, just south of Boulder, UT. The route involves scrambling, but nothing above class 3 is ever needed. The summit can be reached by following the southeast ridge until you reach a short cliff band just before the summit. The climb from road to summit takes 30-45 minutes.

Nice steep slickrock up to a red capstone with a lovely view. Perfect for a very short run at the end of the day to enjoy sunset.
