The colourful leaves were all over the ground. It was incredible, but was probably more spectacular two weeks ago before all of the leaves fell. Lost my heart shaped labradorite rock somewhere on the trail. I hope someone enjoys it when they find it :-)
Excellent trail, stay aware as there were many bikers going fast. Bring extra water and snacks.
Great trail, lots of shade. Fairly crowded on a Sunday afternoon. Will definitely be back.
I was the only hiker... seems like more of Mt bike trail. So be on the lookout so you don’t get run over! But so so beautiful!!
Trying to find the mid mountain trail was really difficult as there are no signs :(
Cool trail - lots of bikes on a Monday morning. Park in the lot by Silverstar Cafe.
The whole loop is 9.4 miles and is mostly mountain biking trails.
Directions throughout trail should be better had to back track due to bad signaling. Otherwise great!
Beautiful trail! Nice intermittent shade from the aspens and lovely wildflowers throughout.
Decent hike, not a crazy amount of exposure and quite a few mountain bikes but still didn't impede upon my ability to enjoy the trail.
A few snow patches still but nothing that wasn’t safely passable. Not much mud outside of the snow areas. Few bugs, perfect weather, limited bikers (was probably passed by only 12 mountain bikers during the hike). Great views of Park City and easy parking at the base. Give it a try, you’ll love it!
This trail is usually done on a mountain bike, and the actual Spiro section I think is a downhill only portion, at least for mountain bikers, and it’s FAST! I would double check with the Park City Mountain map first before hiking up Spiro. Typically people will ride up Armstrong and use mid-mountain to crossover to Spiro and ride Spiro down.
